Volvo Car Xc60: Airbags May Not Deploy In A Collision
Recall Summary Volvo is recalling approximately 56,000 vehicles (XC60, S60, V60, XC70, V70, and S80 models) because the wiring harness connecting the airbag system to the front seats may not be properly attached. If the seat is adjusted repeatedly, this harness could become disconnected, which would prevent the front and side airbags from deploying in a crash, though a warning light would appear on the dashboard. Affected vehicles need to be inspected to check that the wiring harness is correctly routed and secured.
