Yamaha Yzf-r1: Engine Idle Speed May Not Return To Normal
- Recalling firm
- YAMAHA
- Product
- Vehicles: YAMAHA YZF-R1. Units affected: 139
- Reason
- Under certain circumstances a poor connection between APS and TPS may cause an incorrect signal to the ECU which in extreme cases may result in the engine idle speed not returning to the specified level even when the throttle is closed. Remedy: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to add a sub-lead to bypass the potentially poor connection.
