Mitsubishi Asx: Inappropriate Water Proof Structure Of The Front Deck
Mitsubishi ASX Recall Summary Mitsubishi is recalling 90,012 ASX vehicles because water can seep onto the wiper link mechanism due to a gap in the front deck's waterproofing. This water exposure can cause the wiper link ball joint to corrode and wear down, potentially causing the windshield wipers to stop working or the wiper link to detach completely. The fix involves adding a waterproof pad to the wiper link rubber boot.
