Suzuki Gsx600: Possible Failure Of Grab Rail
Suzuki is recalling 3,600 GSX600 and GSX750 motorcycles because the passenger grab handle's mounting bracket may be too weak and could break if pulled on with excessive force or during hard braking with a passenger aboard. The grab handle could then fail completely, potentially causing injury to a passenger. Suzuki will replace the grab handle with a modified version.

- SUZUKI GB PLC
- Product
- Vehicles: SUZUKI GSX600, SUZUKI GSX750. Units affected: 3,600
- Reason
- The fixing bracket portion of the Pillion Passenger Grab Handle may not have enough strength and if excessive force is applied to this area such as using the Grab Handle to lift or drag the motorcycle the Grab Handle could break or partially fail at this point. This in turn could lead to the complete failure of the Grab Handle during sudden hard braking with a pillion passenger. Remedy: Recall affected machines and fit a modified grab handle.
