BMW 5 Series: The Pressing Force Of The Bearing Bushing Into The Crankcase May Be Out Of Specification
BMW is recalling 265 vehicles from their 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, and Z4 models because the bearing bushing that holds the engine's counterbalance shaft may not be installed to the correct specifications. BMW will replace the entire engine in affected vehicles. This recall is limited to the United Kingdom.
