Bridgestone is recalling 278,439 Duravis R 660 Eco 215/65R16C tires because they are prone to cuts and damage in wet, rough conditions, which can allow moisture in and cause the tire belt to rust and deform. If the damage goes unnoticed and driving continues, the tire tread may separate. The affected tires will be replaced.

- Reason
- The affected tyre is more susceptible to cuts and partial penetrations than anticipated when used in rugged and wet environments. These cuts can lead to moisture intrusion and subsequent oxidation of the tyre belt. resulting in tyre deformation and if use continues without detection may result in tread delamination. (The number of vehicles affected to which these tyres are fitted is 62216 vehicles) Remedy: Replacement of affected tyres.
