Mercedes Benz E Class: Engine Hood May Not Behave As Intended In A Collision
Recall Summary Mercedes-Benz is recalling approximately 1,111 E Class vehicles in the UK because the engine hood's reset mechanism for pedestrian protection may not have been installed during manufacturing. If the vehicle is in a head-on collision, the hood may not function as designed, which could increase injury risk to occupants. Dealers will inspect affected vehicles and install the missing reset mechanism if needed.
