- 1) Bonnet catch securing bolts may slacken in service allowing movement of the lock mechanism. This may result in the bonnet lifting. 2) Autoliv-Klippan seat belt pre-tensioners may be faulty. Remedy: 1. Replace the bonnet catch fixing bolts with screws and lock nuts. 2. Substitute any Autoliv-Klippan pre-tensioners with TRW-REPA equipment.
