Mercedes Benz C Class: Side Restraint System May Not Function As Intended

Three Mercedes-Benz C Class vehicles have a defect in the threaded connections of crash sensors at the B-pillars that may cause the side restraint system to deploy late or not at all during a side-impact collision. This could increase the risk of injury to occupants. The vehicles will be recalled to inspect and correct the threaded connections of these crash sensors on both sides.
