Webasto Coolant Heater: Certain Burner Tubes May Not Be Manufactured To The Correct Specification

- Reason
- The material composition of certain stainless steel burner tubes are not within the correct specification. This can cause the burner tubes to deteriorate at an accelerated rate and can possibly fail. In extreme cases this could cause a fire or allow exhaust fumes to enter the vehicle. To date there have been no incidents of property damage or personal injury. Remedy: Webasto has initiated a recall of all 11 potentially affected units and will replace all affected burner tubes.
