Suzuki Uk110: 1. Possible Loss Of Drive 2. Throttle May Stick 3. Risk Of Fire
Suzuki UK110 Recall Summary Suzuki is recalling 960 UK110 vehicles due to three separate safety issues: the kick starter may come loose during use, a bolt may have fallen into the air cleaner during manufacturing and could jam the throttle, and a fuel hose connector may not be properly attached to the fuel injector, which could cause fuel to leak. These defects can result in loss of engine control, inability to reduce engine speed, or fire risk. The company will tighten the kick starter, inspect the air cleaner for foreign objects, and secure the fuel hose connection.

- SUZUKI GB PLC
- Product
- Vehicles: SUZUKI UK110. Units affected: 960
- Reason
- 1) The kick starter may not be correctly secure and slip during use. 2) A bolt may have dropped into the air cleaner during assembly. If a bolt is in the air cleaner assembly it is possible for it to enter the throttle body causing the throttle to stick so the rpm cannot be reduced by throttle operation. 3) A fuel hose connector may not have been properly fitted to the injector which can lead to fuel leakage increasing the risk of fire. Remedy: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and 1) Torque kick starter nut to 55NM 2) Check for foreign material in the air cleaner box. 3)...
