- In other countries, incidents involving the detachment of the tip from the radial fiber occurred in a batch different from the affected lot, leading to a voluntary recall in March 2025. Following the voluntary recall overseas, the manufacturer implemented improvements to the manufacturing process and strengthened quality control measures to prevent the detachment of the radial fiber tip. Recently, a similar incident occurred in Japan. After consulting with the manufacturer, we have identified the lots at risk of tip detachment and have decided to conduct a voluntary recall.
