Recall Summary Volkswagen is recalling certain ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.BUZZ, and ID.BUZZ CARGO vehicles built between February 2022 and August 2024 due to high-voltage battery modules that don't meet specifications. These faulty modules can cause reduced driving range, a warning light to appear, and pose a fire risk. Volkswagen will perform a software update, inspect the battery modules, and replace individual modules if necessary.
