Renault Scenic: Possible Loss Of Brake Power Assistance
Recall Summary Renault is recalling 23,920 Scenic and Megane vehicles in the United Kingdom because the brake assistance pipe may deteriorate from heat exposure near the pre-catalytic converter, resulting in a hard brake pedal and reduced braking assistance. The affected vehicles are non-air conditioned models with K4J or K4M engines. Renault will replace and/or reroute the brake assistance pipe on affected vehicles.

- Reason
- Non air conditioned Megane and Scenics equipped with K4J or K4M engines with a pre-catalytic convertor fitted may have a hard brake pedal (lack of braking assistance).
