2022 Ford E-transit - Powertrain

Ford is recalling approximately 40 E-Transit vans from model years 2022-2025 because the left-rear axle shaft may not have been installed correctly, which could cause it to wear and result in loss of power to the wheels. If power is lost while driving, a crash could occur, and if the vehicle is parked without the parking brake engaged, it could roll away. Ford will mail owners and direct them to dealerships for inspection and replacement of the axle shaft if needed.
