Jaguar F-pace: Incorrect Driveshaft May Detach
Jaguar F-Pace Driveshaft Recall One Jaguar F-Pace with an automatic transmission may have an incorrectly sized rear driveshaft installed, which is shorter than it should be. This could cause underbody noise, oil leaks, or in severe cases, the driveshaft could detach from the differential, causing the vehicle to lose power and increasing crash risk. Jaguar will check affected vehicles and install the correct driveshaft if needed.

- Reason
- A number of vehicles specified with automatic transmissions may have been fitted with the incorrect specification rear driveshaft. The incorrect driveshaft length is shorter. The driver may experience underbody noise and/or notice an oil leak. In extreme cases the driveshaft may detach from the differential and as a result the vehicle would lose drive which can increase the risk of a vehicle crash. Remedy: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check if the correct driveshaft is fitted. If not already fitted fit the correct driveshaft.
