2025 Hyundai Santa Fe - Visual System
Hyundai is recalling 9 units of the 2025 Santa Fe due to a defective rearview camera wiring harness that may prevent the camera image from displaying when reversing. A non-functioning rearview camera could reduce visibility behind the vehicle and increase crash risk. Hyundai will contact owners by mail and instruct them to have the wiring harness replaced at a dealership.

- Vehicles: 2025 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. System: Visual System. Units affected: 9,054
- Reason
- Issue: On certain vehicles, the wiring harness for the rearview camera may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged and cause the rearview camera image not to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the camera wiring harness.
