2026 Ford F-350 Super Duty - Powertrain

Certain 2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks with single rear wheels and 10.5-inch rear axles may have a defective right-rear axle shaft that could break, causing loss of power to the wheels. If the axle shaft breaks while driving, it increases crash risk, and if parked without the parking brake applied, the truck could roll away. Ford will mail owners instructions to have the axle shaft inspected and replaced at a dealership if needed.
