Polaris Sportsman 850: Fire May Occur

Polaris Sportsman 850 Recall Summary Polaris is recalling 21 Sportsman 850 vehicles sold in the United Kingdom because ice can build up in the crankcase ventilation valve during short-period use in freezing temperatures, which may block the breather and cause oil to leak onto the hot exhaust header pipe, creating a fire hazard. The company will replace the crankcase breather cartridge with an updated design to fix the issue.

Reason
Fire may occur if the vehicle is used for a series of short periods in freezing temperatures.
