Mazda 5: Fire May Occur
Mazda is recalling 1,031 Mazda 5 vehicles sold in the United Kingdom because water can seep into the glow plug control module due to a faulty waterproof connector, which may cause the module to corrode and potentially melt, creating a fire risk. Dealers will inspect the module and replace it if needed, and will also relocate the module to prevent water from entering it again. This is a Class I recall, indicating a serious safety issue.
