Forest River: Seating Power Cord May Have Inadequate Circuit Protection (electrical System)

- Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2027 Cedar Creek, 2023-2027 FR3, 2023-2026 Palomino, 2024 Cardinal, Wildcat, Shasta Oasis, 2024-2026 Forest River Hardside, Palomino Real-Lite Camper, 2026 Puma Tracks, and Puma recreational vehicles and trailers, equipped with certain power seating assemblies. The power cord fuse may not provide adequate circuit protection.
- Reason
- In the event of a short circuit, inadequate protection increases the risk of a fire. Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the power cord, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 21, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-535-2748. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-2109.
