Buell Xb12xp: Windshield May Detach
Buell is recalling 262 XB12XP and XB12XT motorcycles because the windshield may come loose or hit the rider at high speeds, potentially causing loss of control. The windshields are currently held on with rubber nuts that can become dislodged. Buell will remount the windshields using upgraded fasteners to fix the problem.

- It has been identified that on affected machines the windscreen which is mounted with rubber nuts may become dislodged or strike the rider whilst the machine is being ridden at high speed. Should either of the foregoing occur control of the machine could be lost. Remedy: Recalled machines will have the windscreen remounted using upgraded fastener assemblies.
