2024 Lucid Air - Powertrain

2024-2026 Lucid Air Recall Summary Lucid is recalling certain 2024-2026 Air Pure rear-wheel drive models (246 vehicles total) because bolts that secure the axle shafts to the drive unit may not be properly tightened. If an axle shaft separates from the drive unit, power to the wheels could be lost suddenly, increasing crash risk. Lucid will mail owners instructions to contact a Lucid Service Center to have the bolts replaced.

Reason

Issue: On certain vehicles, the bolts securing the axle shafts to the drive unit may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the axle shaft(s) could separate from the drive unit and cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels. Note: This recall is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2025-535.
