First Line Wishbone For Suzuki Swift 2010 >: Ball Joint May Not Be Secure

Recall Summary First Line is recalling approximately 80 wishbones (suspension parts) for Suzuki Swift vehicles from 2010 onwards because some units may be missing a securing clip on the ball joint. Without this clip, the ball joint could potentially shift out of position and affect steering control. The affected wishbones will be replaced with corrected versions that include the securing clip.

Product
Vehicles: FIRST LINE WISHBONE FOR SUZUKI SWIFT 2010 >. Units affected: 80
Reason
A small batch of wishbones may have been manufactured with out a ball joint secondary securing clip. This may allow the ball joint to dislocate from its location. The ball joint is unlikely to separate but without the securing clip ball joint dislocation could have an affect on the steering. Remedy: Recall affected wishbones and replace with a new version which will have the secondary securing clip.
