2025.0 Lincoln Navigator - Seats And Restraints
Recall Summary Lincoln Navigator vehicles from 2025-2027 are being recalled because a malfunction in the rear audio control module could cause the front passenger seat to move on its own—tilting, reclining, or sliding forward and backward—without stopping even if something is in the way. This unexpected seat movement could increase the risk of injury to passengers. Ford will mail owners instructions to bring their vehicles to a dealership for a software update.

- Reason
- Issue: Under certain conditions, a problem with the rear audio control module (RACM) could cause the front passenger seat to unexpectedly move forward or backward, or tilt and recline on its own. If this happens, the seat may continue moving even if there's an obstruction. Safety Risk: A seat that doesn't stop moving could increase the risk of injury. Corrective actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the RACM and accessory protocol image module (APIM) software to disable the chauffeur mode function.
