Mercedes-benz Cars Glc: Electrical Wiring In Steering Assembly May Be Insufficiently Grounded

Summary Mercedes-Benz is recalling approximately 471,648 vehicles across multiple models (GLC, GLA, B Class, CLA, A Class, and C-Class) because electrical wiring in the steering assembly may not be properly grounded. A broken steering column clock spring could cause warning lights to appear on the dashboard, or in rare cases, cause the driver's airbag to deploy unexpectedly. The manufacturer will repair the vehicles by establishing proper grounding of the steering components.
