2023 BMW X1 - Brakes

Recall Summary BMW is recalling certain 2023-2025 X1, X2, X5, X6, X7, and i7 models (24 vehicles total) because previous brake system repairs may not have been completed correctly, and a problem with the integrated brake system could reduce power brake assist. This could result in reduced braking performance and may prevent the antilock braking system and stability control from functioning properly, increasing stopping distances and crash risk. BMW will mail owners and direct them to take their vehicles to a dealership for inspection and brake system replacement if needed.
