Recall Summary Piaggio is recalling approximately 13,764 Gilera Runner scooters (125SP, 125VX, 180SP, and 180VXR models) sold in the United Kingdom because the front fork stanchions may bend or fracture under certain conditions, such as hitting a severe pothole or experiencing a light front collision. A damaged front fork can impair the suspension or cause loss of steering control, increasing accident risk. The manufacturer will replace the front fork stanchions with modified versions.
