Mitsubishi Outlander: Brake Lamps May Not Illuminate
Summary Certain Mitsubishi Outlander and Grandis vehicles have a defective brake light switch due to silicon grease applied during manufacturing that can prevent the brake lights from working. In automatic transmission vehicles, this defect may also prevent the gear shift from moving out of park. The manufacturer will clean the switch mounting and replace the brake light switch.
