Mercedes Benz Slk: Electrical Fault Could Allow Vehicle To Roll Away When Left Parked

Recall Summary Mercedes Benz is recalling 717 SLK vehicles with 9-speed transmissions because a backup battery connection fault may prevent the transmission from shifting into Park or the electronic parking brake from engaging when the main battery fails. This could allow the parked vehicle to roll away. The manufacturer will adapt the harness and recode the system to fix the issue.
