Peugeot 208: Alternator Protection
Recall Summary Peugeot is recalling 19,116 units of the 208 and 2008 vehicles distributed in the United Kingdom due to a potential contact or tight spacing between the Gasoline Particulate Filter pipe and the alternator's pole protection cap. This contact could allow water to enter and cause an electrical short circuit, which may lead to overheating. The manufacturer will replace the pole protection cap and check or reposition the filter pipe as needed.
