2021 Honda Cbr1000rr (fireblade) - Powertrain

Recall Summary Honda is recalling 15 units of the 2021 CBR1000RR (Fireblade) motorcycle because the pivot bolt on the gear shift lever can loosen during aggressive upshifting, potentially break, and cause the shift lever to fall off. If the shift lever detaches, the rider cannot change gears, which increases crash risk. Honda will mail owners instructions to visit a dealer, where the bolt will be replaced and treated with thread locking compound to prevent future loosening.
