Vw Passat: Head Restraint Guide Retaining Spring May Be Faulty

Volkswagen is recalling 428 Passat vehicles from a specific production period because the retaining spring that holds the head restraint in place may be defective. If involved in an accident, the faulty spring could allow the head restraint to detach from the seat, increasing the risk of injury. The fix involves replacing the left head restraint guides on both front seats.
