2009 Setra S407 - Lights And Instruments
Recall Summary Setra buses from 2009 to 2020 (models S407 and S417) are being recalled because certain control switches for hazard warning lights, windshield defrosting, and fan speed may not be visible in low light conditions, which could make them harder to locate and operate. The switches don't meet Canadian regulations for visibility. The manufacturer will notify owners by mail and provide instructions for replacing the hazard warning lights switch.

- Reason
- Issue: On a small number of buses, the switches for the hazard warning lights, windshield defroster/defogger and fan speed may not meet the requirements of Canadian regulations. As a result, you may not be able to see the control switches in low light conditions. Safety Risk: Switches that are difficult to see could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Coaches North America will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to replace the hazard warning lights switch.
