Jeep Cherokee: Vehicle Short Causing Can-c Bus To Stop Communicating
Recall Summary Jeep is recalling 80 Cherokee vehicles sold in the United Kingdom due to an electrical short that can interrupt communication on the vehicle's CAN-C bus system. When cruise control is active and the vehicle is below the set speed, this short may cause the engine to lock onto a power request, potentially keeping the vehicle at its current speed or causing it to accelerate. The fix involves checking and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module software if needed.
