- The brake and clutch pedal foot plates may detach due to deficient quality of welding that holds them to the brake pedal lever. This could cause the foot to fall off either control and cause an incident. Remedy: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the welding brake foot plate to brake lever and where necessary fit new brake and/or clutch pedal assemblies.
