2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 - Seats And Restraints
Recall Summary Hyundai is recalling approximately 609,780 vehicles from model years 2023-2026 (including Ioniq 6, Genesis G90, and Santa Fe models) because the lower anchor points for front seat belts may have been damaged during service, potentially causing seat belts to detach during a crash. A detached seat belt increases the risk of injury in an accident. Hyundai will notify owners to have dealerships inspect and reinforce the seat belt anchors, replacing the seat belt assemblies if needed.
