2021 Ford F-150 - Lights And Instruments
Ford is recalling approximately 94 million 2021-2026 Ford and Lincoln vehicles due to a software problem in the integrated trailer module that may prevent trailer lights and brakes from working properly when towing. Non-functioning trailer lights reduce vehicle visibility to other drivers and could prevent them from seeing braking or turning signals, while loss of trailer brakes increases crash risk. Ford will send affected owners a wireless software update or owners can schedule an appointment at a Ford dealership to have the update installed.
