Recall Summary E6 vehicles manufactured between August 2022 and March 2024 are being recalled because the child booster step installed on standard models may cause the vehicle to not meet required height specifications, potentially making emergency evacuation more difficult. - Reason
- The "child booster step" installed on standard-model vehicles at the time of delivery may cause the vehicle to fail to meet the height requirements specified in Article 29 (Step Height) of the Regulations on the Performance and Standards of Motor Vehicles and Motor Vehicle Parts, and and as a result, it has been confirmed that this could hinder safe evacuation in the event of an emergency when operating a standard-model vehicle; therefore, a recall has been issued.
