- The manufacturer has established that there is a slight possibility that if the battery terminals become loose or is unfortunately disconnected the temperature control unit which controls the operation of the carburettor heater could short out internally and fail to operate the heater. Remedy: Recall all the affected machines and replace the control unit with a re-designed unit.
