Cummins: Driveline May Separate (power Train)

Recall Summary Cummins is recalling certain Meritor drivelines (model numbers RPL20, RPL25, RPL10, RPL35, RPL14, and 176MXL) because a snap ring may be missing from the slip yoke assembly, which can cause the bearing cup to separate from the driveline. If the driveline separates, the vehicle will lose drive power and detached parts could become hazards on the road, both increasing crash risk. Dealers will inspect and replace affected drivelines for free, with owner notification letters expected to arrive November 20, 2026.
