Health hazards: 本来の使用対象ではないクラニオカッターと誤って組み合わせて使用される可能性が考えられます。 スタンダードタイプの製品に「ロング」と誤って表示されている場合、ロングタイプのクラニオカッターとは互 換性がなく、物理的に接続することができません。そのため、手技中に交換対応が必要となり、処置時間が延長 される可能性があります。 一方、ロングタイプに「スタンダード」と誤表示されている場合は、スタンダードのクラニオカッターと機械的 な接続は可能ですが、本来意図したカッター寸法が異なるため、意図した手技を完了させることができません。 この場合には、意図した効果を得るために追加の力を加える可能性も想定されることから、意図しない硬膜損傷 や出血の可能性が考えられます。しかしながら、医療従事者により適切に処置が行われると考えられることか ら、重篤な健康被害には至らないと考えられます。なお、これまでに国内において本事象発生による健康被害の 発生の報告は受けておりません。

- We have received a report that errors were found in the markings stamped on the product itself and in the labels indicating the product type affixed to the packaging materials during the manufacturing process at the overseas manufacturer. Since this mislabeling could result in the product being labeled as “Long” instead of its actual type, “Standard,” or vice versa (i.e., “Standard” instead of “Long”), we have decided to conduct a voluntary recall of the affected products that have already been shipped to the market. *
