Citroen C-crosser: Short Circuit May Occur

Recall Summary Citroën is recalling 45 C-Crosser vehicles because unused electrical connectors under the rear floor carpets can corrode when exposed to water, snow, or de-icing salt, potentially causing electrical overheating. The fix involves repositioning the wires that supply power to the front seats to a higher location on the seat frame. This recall affects vehicles distributed in the United Kingdom.

Product
Vehicles: CITROEN C-CROSSER. Units affected: 45
Reason
On affected vehicles connectors intended to supply the electric front seats fitted to some versions are not used and are located under the rear footwell carpets. If these connectors come into contact with water of melted snow and de-icing agents they may corrode over a period of time and cause localised electrical overheating. Remedy: The operation involves repositioning these electrical supply wires for the two front seats to move them higher up on the seat frame.
