2022 Nova Bus Lfs - Engine
Nova Bus is recalling certain 2022-2025 LFS transit buses because cooling pumps in the engine system could fail, potentially causing a loss of power to the wheels. A sudden loss of power could increase crash risk and may force unsafe passenger transfers. Nova Bus will contact owners by mail with instructions on how to inspect and replace the cooling pumps if needed.

- This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2026-107. Issue: On certain transit buses, the cooling pumps for the electrical and/or mechanical cooling packages could fail and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A bus that is disabled could result in a transfer of passengers in an uncontrolled environment, which may create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, replace the cooling pump(s).
