Renault Master: Spare Wheel May Become Detached
Recall Summary Renault is recalling 1,318 Master vehicles because the spare wheel carrier winch system may not hold the spare wheel securely after use, allowing it to loosen during driving. If the spare wheel moves while the vehicle is in motion, it could damage the winch cable and pin, potentially causing the spare wheel to detach. Renault will replace the complete spare wheel winch system in affected vehicles.

- Vehicles: RENAULT MASTER. Units affected: 1,318
- Reason
- The spare wheel carrier winch system may allow the spare wheel to be loosely installed after the customer has used the winch. In this condition the spare wheel might move during driving which may damage and eventually break the cable and guiding pin of the winch system. In this worst case the spare wheel would become detached from the vehicle. Remedy: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the complete spare wheel winch system.
