Create Your Own Doll

A plastic doll set called "Create your own doll" sold by Girls Fashion in Hungary is being recalled because the plastic contains excessive levels of DEHP, a chemical that can damage the reproductive system. The product violates safety regulations for toy chemicals. Distributors have been ordered to recall the product from consumers, remove it from store shelves, and stop selling it as of June 18, 2026.

Reason

The plastic material of the product has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value up to 38% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health by causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The product does not comply with the requirements of the REACH Regulation nor with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive.
