Mazda 5: Engine May Stall
Recall Summary Mazda is recalling 1,518 Mazda 5 vehicles sold in the United Kingdom because water may have accumulated in the fuel tank during manufacturing, causing corrosion on fuel pump connectors. This corrosion could make the fuel pump stop working, which may cause the engine to stall or fail to start. Dealers will inspect the connectors and replace the wiring harness and fuel pump section if corrosion or damage is found.
