Isuzu Artic Truck At35: Steering Rack/ Steering Column Connector May Detach
Recall Summary Isuzu is recalling 118 Artic Truck AT35 vehicles because the connector between the steering column and steering rack may not have been made to the correct specifications, potentially causing them to separate. If this separation occurs, the driver could lose steering control of the vehicle. The fix involves replacing the connector block with a longer one of different dimensions.

- Product
- Vehicles: ISUZU ARTIC TRUCK AT35. Units affected: 118
- Reason
- It has been identified that the connection block/shaft between the splined parts of the steering rack and steering column have not been manufactured to specification. This can result in the splines not engaging in the block/shaft sufficiently. This could lead to a disconnection of the steering column and steering rack which can result in loss of control of the vehicle. Remedy: Recall all affected vehicles to replace the connection block with a longer connector. The connector block is of a different size and shape
