2022 Chevrolet Tahoe - Powertrain

2022 Chevrolet Suburban and Related Models Recall Certain 2022 Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade, and Tahoe vehicles with 10-speed automatic transmissions may have a transmission control valve body that wears and loses pressure, causing harsh shifting and wheel lockup. Sudden wheel lockup could result in loss of vehicle control and increased crash risk. General Motors will notify owners to have dealers update the transmission control module software, which will detect the wear condition early and limit the vehicle to fifth gear if a problem is found.
