Mitsubishi Space Runner: Possible Cracking Of Fuel Tank And Check Valve.

Recall Summary Mitsubishi is recalling approximately 5,700 Space Runner and Space Wagon vehicles sold in the United Kingdom because the fuel tank's upper panel may crack due to repeated stress from the tank's normal breathing function, and the check valve may crack from contact with the cross member. Dealers will inspect the fuel tank and check valve, replacing the tank if cracks are found or installing a reinforcement plate if no cracks are present, and will relocate the check valve.
